Using Camtasia for Tutorials
In fall 2014 I taught Image Processing to first-year students. This course requires students to learn different facets of the application in each class in order to complete assigments.
Students work at different paces and I quickly found out that some students could not follow what I was doing on the presenter. To assist those students I began to record the different techniques I was teaching with Camtasia. The students could then watch the videos if they required a review at there own time. The feedback I received was very positive.
The following year one of my colleagues, who was teaching Image Processing, used my tutorials an extra resource in his classroom as well.
Below are two examples of those tutorials.
